Week of Action

With over 30 events across Canada the Week of Action was a great kick off to the Vote Child Care 2015 campaign! Click here to view the list of events!

Spring into Action for Child Care was our opportunity to build support for our vision of affordable quality child care, and to make child care a prominent election issue in communities across Canada.

We called on provincial, territorial, Indigenous and local groups to work together to organize events to draw public attention to child care – events like town halls, door-to-door canvassing, rallies for child care, stroller brigades, community picnics and more. For provinces with existing campaigns, like the $10aDay campaign in BC, the week of action was a great opportunity to also call for federal action.
